mtb The climb is clear but very muddy from the first viewpoint to the hike a bike. The descent is clear until the Razors Edge turn off where you start to see patches of snow, some rideable, some not, until the junction with Jewell Pass. JP also has snow patches for the first while but then clears up. Prevalent Mudview

hike 90% dry with a few icy patches, especially near the top in the trees, but in great shape. No crampons needed for this section Variableview

mtb Good hard packed snow. Icy on the hike a bike sections - would help to have spikes on your shoes. Studded tires essential for occasional ice. Jewel pass descent was awesome. Lower part of Jewel Pass gets muddy near intersection with Stoney Trail. Ice on lake was still good but take care. Dryview

mtb Lots of soft snow, really tough going between the first viewpoint and the summit. Getting out earlier in the morning is advisable with the current warm temperatures. Snow Packedview
