Easy slow loop around the Redstone and Newpark areas of Kimball. Most of the trail is on the border with the wetlands. Near the amphitheater there is a beaver pond.

On the north end the trail goes dips under Highland Drive and I-80. Both ends of that piece are steep. The tunnel under I-80 has an ice column sometime in winter and a floating boardwalk in during the spring run off.

In the winter this trail is groomed for cross-country skiing starting by the fieldhouse and going south.
