Revolution is mix of fun flow and moderate tech, with lots of options for air time, including the famous Chef's Table rock drop near the bottom. This trail is a vital link, connecting directly from the Valley floor near Waitsfield village into Camel's Hump State Forest and the heart of Riders network, all the way to Marble Hill Farm/Chase Brook Town Forest, Eurich/Sugarbush Ponds and the Sugarbush base areas.

Access Info

Park at Lareau Swimhole (use bridge underpass trail to get to trailhead) or Lareau Farm (except Thurs-Sat, 4PM-9PM). Also easily accessible from Waitsfield village. Start this spin behind Lareau Farm - American Flatbread, look for the wooden fork and bike wheel sign. Enter a wide trail, traverse and climb steadily for about half a mile. On right, follow a singletrack through a series of smooth, but challenging switchbacks, across a long bridge, then intersect Dana Hill Rd near the high point of the trail. Go a few feet down Dana Hill and enter the bottom of Evolution to continue climbing. Revolution also has a spur that connects to the bottom of Cyclone. The downhill on Revolution is a fun mix of tech and flow. Scope the drop and have the appropriate skills before attempting. Please go slowly exiting into the field, as there are often Flatbread guests playing in the field. No alcohol in the Flatbread lot. All dogs should be leashed, town ordinance, especially at Lareau Farm, where there is livestock near the trail.
