River trail is one of the most iconic hiking trails at Ijams. It meanders through the forest from the Will Skelton Greenway and follows along the TN River via a series of elevated boardwalks. In addition to the scenic views along the river, there are some interesting windows into the rock formations along this trail as well. Its easy to create a loop from Ijams Nature Center by using one of several trails and the Will Skelton Greeway.
