Smasher is a steep, hand made, challenging but fun singletrack downhill trail through pine woods. It drops approx 320m from the Codgers riding area onto the Maitai Valley Road. It features a lot of steep off-camber but is very well made, with good catches in the corners. There are two jumps (that can be avoided) and a rock roll (can also be avoided). Not recommended in the wet. Can exit after upper section. New trail grade in 2021.
