Fikk navnet sitt da den fortsatt var veldig smooth. Mange år (og hundrevis av sykkeltimer) senere er den ikke like smooth, men fortsatt en kul sti med lange, morsomme strekk hvor du kan få opp farten.
Der stien møter Midtlivegen (grusveien), kan man fortsette rett fram og ned til Vassfarvegen (asfaltveien). Denne delen er imidlertid kraftig erodert og anbefales ikke.
Stien starter ved utsiktspunktet Utsikten, nær Trytetjern på toppen av Østsida i Nesbyen.
English:
Got its name when it still had a very smooth surface. Many years later, it’s not so smooth anymore, but it’s still a great trail with long, fun stretches where you can pick up speed.
Where the trail meets Midtlivegen (the gravel road), you can continue straight ahead down to Vassfarvegen (the asphalt road). However, this section has been heavily eroded and is not recommended.
The trail starts at the viewpoint Utsikten, near Trytetjern lake at the top of Østsida in Nesbyen.
