The trail sits above a creek bed that flows down a small valley below the the convergence of trails at the ridge connected to the top of left hand fork trail. It is steep in sections, loose, rocky and rutted out from spring runoff. There are some low hanging branches to dodge and the trail is fairly straight. It is loose and fast, partially shaded and there are rattlesnakes that can sometimes be seen from the trail.
Can be dropped into from the Top of Left Hand Fork or from the Right Hand Kelsey Fork Canyon trails.
