Springbrook South trail is a short trail that is relatively fast and technical. It is not a steep trail, but lots of small, loose rocks and turns exist. It is an uphill and downhill trail, but it is primarily for downhill. Hiking is also allowed so be aware if you are looking to go fast. The scenery is beautiful, starting in a forest, at the end if the Springbrook North trail, but as the trail continues it opens up and a nice view of Boulder is shown.
Start at the Dowdy Draw Trailhead and then go up to the Springbrook Link Trail. There will be a fork in the trail eventually, and that is where the Springbrook Loop has begun. Turn right to begin Springbrook North and left for Springbrook South.
Dogs are not allowed on Springbrook South
