This 1.4 miles trail forms a connector between the Tarbell Trail and Silver Star Trail #180. The grade is extremely steep and follows an old jeep trial the goes straight up a ridgeline without any switchbacks. Riders generally use this as a variation when riding the Tarbell loop counter-clockwise. This variation allows riders to add a trip to Silver Star summit and a run down the Chinook trail before rejoining the Tarbell.

Disclaimer

This trail is extremely steep and generally pushed.
