This trail gets its namesake from the old telegraph poles and wire that you will see scattered along portions of this trail. The trail begins with a short easy climb to get to the top of the ridge and then its all downhill from there. The trail has multiple drops, berms, jumps, and technical rock sections that will test your skill level. The trail does cross the CCC road in one location and it is recommended that you stop to check for traffic before crossing. The finale of this trail is a 10 foot tall drop that will test the most experienced riders. There is a 6 foot alternate drop line or a ride around altogether for those less daring. There are other smaller mandatory drops within the trail and it is not recommended for beginner or intermediate riders.
This trail is accessed from the Hi-Line trail, about midway down the trail. Near the bottom of the Telegraph trail it forks into two alternate lines, one cutting left and over to the CCC road up higher to allow easy access to the Tank Run trail and the other taking you all the way to the bottom of the hill, joining with the CCC road down lower.
