The Caves trail is better suited as a finish point for a loop including 409, Point Lookout and 409.5. It is steep STEEP... so best at the END of your ride, coming downhill, instead of at the start of your ride with a punchy uphill. Use Walrod Cutoff as a more efficient climb.
