This black diamond graded descent only trail swoops steeply down a small valley below Camps Bay Drive on the lower slopes of Lion's Head. It follows the usually dry water course on the left hand side and has sharp corners and steep sections including an optional drop off about 1/2 way down. The trail is prone to erosion and is not always in perfect condition. Fallen trees an also cause issues from time to time. As it is a multi-use trail be aware of pedestrians including dogs, their owners, walkers and runners who may be moving up or down the trail. There have also been some reports of trail sabotage with logs being dragged across the track.

Access Info

Access is gained from the side walk a short distance past the traffic circle at the top of Kloof Nek. Look out for the track descending steeply on your right as you descend from the circle on Camps Bay Drive.
