One of the most popular hikes in the area, especially among locals and college students. You can hike up to the top of the Y where you can sit and see the whole valley, or turn off a bit early to the base, and climb right up the Y. It appears to be too steep from below, but once you are there, it is like walking up a very steep concrete walkway, painted white.
The trail itself is very wide, and mostly flat, with some embedded rocks. In the old days you used to be able to ride a bike up, but it was deemed Hike Only years ago. This trail is owned and maintained by BYU, not the Forest Service.
