Tiger Creek is a 3.6 mile singletrack trail located in Tiger Canyon of the Blue Mountains near Walla Walla, WA. It connects Government Mountain Rd. with Tiger Canyon Rd., and follows Tiger Creek for most of the trail (crossing it several times). The trail is not technically sanctioned, but because of its popularity the USFS has not taken issue with its presence or use.
Park at the trailhead at the switchback in the road and either 1) pedal up Tiger Canyon Rd (Rd. #65) to Government Mountain Rd (Rd. #6511) to descend the entire trail for an 11mi / 2000 ft loop, or 2) ride up the trail for an out-n-back, but be prepared for a fair amount of hike-a-bike on the way up. Many folks ride the trail as a shuttle, leaving a car at the bottom and driving up Rd 65, starting the ride at the intersection of Roads 65 and 6511.
This can be added in with North Fork Walla Walla River Trail for larger loops and more mileage / vertical gain.
North Fork > Cow Camp Trail > Tiger Creek Trail for a 15mi / 3200ft loop.
Tiger Creek Trail is technically unsanctioned. Be respectful of the trail, trailhead parking, trail users, and the surrounding area.
