Titus Lake trail is a hand-built singletrack trail that goes from Galena Summit to Titus Lake to Galena Lodge. The lake is NOT the high point of the trail. Bikers usually ride from the summit to Galena lodge by climbing up the Old Toll Road trail or by shuttling. Maps are inconsistent in the trail rating but this trail is definitely a black diamond no matter the direction you ride it. Be prepared for steep roots, tight and loose switchbacks, and steep grades near the lake. This trail is used for horse trail rides and get torn apart by the horses. That said, people usually ride it after precipitation or before/after summer season.
The bottom 1.5 miles of the trail nearest Galena Lodge begins as doubletrack before turning to true singletrack.
Start from the Titus Lake trailhead just below Galena Summit or start from Galena Lodge by going up Titus Creek road until the road turns to singletrack at 1.5 miles.
