The Troll trailhead is located can be found on the forest road on the east side of Kirkton Glen, about 150metres south of the highest point. Look for two small stone cairns about 40cm high next to the track to indicate where you drop in. Lots of work taken place in early 2021 to sort the wet, so it now rides well all year. It starts with a drop that sets the level of riding required and with some reasonably gnarly features and few narrow sections it's all good fun for accomplished riders. This is a good route to ride after doing the "Bigfoot" trail.
Cycle to the highest point on the forest road on the east side of Kirkton Glen and then head 150 metres south to find the entry point. Walk in and check the first drop on foot before dropping in
