A Cumberland classic named after the beer was built in 2010 by the River Rats (Terry Lewis, Al Munday & John Simard) and significantly rebuilt (maintaining the original lines) in 2021with Norm Maximick leading the woodwork replacement. Lots of fun woodwork, log rides, rides through old growth stumps & a couple of smaller jumps all connected by numerous bermed corners giving it all a bit of flow. This trail is part of the Switchback/Potluck/Thirsty Beaver 4km long/300m vertical drop 3-pack of trails built by the River Rats. The carving at the top of the trail of a large beaver cradling a Thirsty Beaver beer was sculpted by Stan Wood.
