Fun, rolling, singletrack with a number of optional alt-line trail features. Some of the optional features do require 'commitment' and can't easily be rolled down. Options abound riding this trail in either direction. The 'main' line is tame enough that it could be suitable for small children.
There is no good trailhead/parking lot at either end of this trail. It is best accessed via the Chester Bowl Rim trail, after parking at/near Chester Park.
Partridge St. (on the east end of this segment) has some street parking. Be sure to observe the City of Duluth's alternate side parking requirement.
