Rocky and loose old moto trail. Be prepared for anything.

It is cleared of deadfall, but it is rugged. All descents are fall line and blown apart.

Not a 'must ride', but if you like back back-woods and happen to find yourself a few clicks up Gillies FSR with nothing better to do, you may as well check it off.

Remarkably still has cell service.

There is actually 2 trails that nearly meet at this point of Gillies FSR. The left (south) heads down and suspect goes to Bordin Trail. Whips and Chains is the one higher up on the corner and just starts heading up and up for about 900m.

This trail is unsanctioned.

Disclaimer

This is a moto trail and thus rides like one. Remote and seldom used.

Clear-ish. Cut out all the deadfall, but one got stuck on the trail and I couldn't move it. 500m from the XFiles intersection.
