This is a long trail in the park. It begins halfway around Tortoise and drops to a creek. Then it travels uphill to the Pumping Station gravel road. Turn right onto the gravel road and travel for about 1/4 mile. White Tail then leaves the gravel road to the right at the pumping station. The old name for this trail was the "Outer Loop" because it traverses along the outer edge of the park. This is not a hard trail but it has technical rough sections and moderate climbs. Champagne Hill is a historic climb on this trail. There are multiple bridges across streams. Some of these bridges can be slick at certain times of the year so be careful. It finishes near the dam on Walnut Creek.
